Just a reminder … next Monday (August 12) is the gazetted Ekka Show Holiday day for the South Burnett and Cherbourg council areas.
It is also the official show holiday for Yarraman, Upper Yarraman and Cooyar in the Toowoomba Regional Council area, and for Goomeri and the Parish of Goomeribong in the Gympie Regional Council area.
Gayndah, Biggenden, Eidsvold, Mount Perry and Monto in the North Burnett Regional Council area, and the Somerset Regional Council area, will also be holding their Show Holidays on August 12.
All Council offices will be closed for the public holiday, and most businesses will be closed or operating on restricted hours.
