Nanango Race Club will be holding its annual Nanango Cup Race Meeting at the Lee Park Racecourse on Saturday.

This is the first race meeting held in the South Burnett for the new racing year, and features a bumper card of seven races.

As usual, the annual Blessing Of The Jockeys ceremony will be held and the winners of Nanango Race Club’s 2023-24 Premierships will also be announced.

All other features – such as the bar, barbecue and race club canteen – will operate as usual, and undercover seating will be available as well as lawn seating.

Fashions Of The Field has a Classic Cup theme.

The meeting’s feature race is Race 6 – the $10,500 Nanango Cup – run over 1600m.

Buses will be leaving Glendon Street in Kingaroy at noon and the Scott Car Park at 12:30pm.

Gates will open at 10:00am and Race 1 will leave the barriers at 12:15pm.
