The Queensland Fire Department – formerly known as the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services – issued a Stay Informed alert on Tuesday afternoon for a bushfire burning in the Coverty area.

The ADVICE alert was issued at 3:01pm.

The fire was burning on Glencoe Road and moving towards K Duff Road.

The QFD said there was no immediate danger but warned residents to stay informed as conditions could change.

A rescue helicopter was despatched to Manar Park at Boondooma on Saturday morning after a rider was involved in a motorcycle crash at the off-road recreational facility.

A QAS spokesperson said paramedics were assessing the patient for a significant leg injury at 9:12am.

Yoda … missing after a single-vehicle crash at Manyung on Saturday afternoon (Photo: Facebook)

A search has begun in the Manyung area for a dog which ran away from a vehicle involved in a single-vehicle rollover near the intersection of the Bunya Highway and Heaths Road on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the crash site at 3:13pm.

Fortunately, the two occupants of the Volkswagen Polo were not injured, but their dog fled the wrecked vehicle.

Photos of Yoda, a brown mastiff cross rottweiler, have been shared widely on social media.

Anyone who spots Yoda should contact the Kingaroy RSPCA.

A motorcycle rider was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition after a crash on Verdelho Drive at Moffatdale on Sunday about 8:30am.

A pedestrian suffered a suspected hip injury when they were struck by a vehicle in Kingaroy just before 5:00pm on Sunday.

The incident occurred in Alford Street.

The pedestrian was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.

A person was taken by ambulance to Nanango Hospital in a stable condition after two vehicles collided at the intersection of Appin Street West and Cairns Street in Nanango about 8:40am on Monday.

Firefighters  were called to a container on fire on a property in Franklin Road, Wattle Camp, on Monday afternoon.

A QAS spokesperson said no one was injured in the incident.
