A man aged in his 60s suffered critical injuries in a horse-riding incident at Widgee on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the private property just after 1:15pm after reports a person had fallen from a horse.
QAS paramedics transported the man to Gympie Hospital.
He was later transferred to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The man suffered serious head and spinal injuries.
