Three Kingaroy children have been blamed for a series of break-ins inside Kingaroy Shoppingworld on Monday night.
A police spokesperson said the trio – a 13-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl and an 12-year-old boy – forced their way into the shopping centre about 5:00pm on Monday.
Kingaroy Shoppingworld was closed due to the public holiday.
The group then broke into six businesses within the complex and stole several items.
They also attempted to break into two other businesses.
Police located the children as they tried to leave the building.
A police spokesperson the children had been dealt with under the Youth Justice Act for seven counts of enter premises and two of attempted entry of premises.
The 13-year-old boy was also dealt with for carrying a knife in a public place.
