The 2024 South Burnett soccer season has officially started, with the first senior game played on Thursday evening in Kingaroy.
Barambah Women got off to a strong start for 2024, downing Nanango Women 8-1 in the opening game of Round 1.
The round will continue on Friday and Saturday nights, with all games to be played at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy:
FRIDAY
- 6:15pm – Kingaroy East Women v Kingaroy West Women
- 7:45pm – Nanango Men Blue v Kingaroy West Men
SATURDAY
- 6:00pm – Nanango Men White v Barambah Men
The junior soccer competition also gets under way this weekend, with the Nanango Panthers hosting the Round 1 games at Alan Downie Sportsfields.
Games will be held for Under 6s through to Cadets, with the first matches beginning at 9:00am.
