A woman was assaulted – and her mobile phone and other property stolen – on Monday night in Fisher Street, Cherbourg.
A police spokesperson said the incident occurred about 9:50pm.
Police will allege two young people tried to steal the woman’s car before they were disturbed by another member of the public and fled.
The pair have been described as:
- About 12 or 13 years old, 1.5m tall, skinny build, wearing all black; and
- About 15 or 16 years old, 1.7m tall, skinny build with dark clothing.
Investigations are continuing.
