Selwyn Cobbo has been named in the centres for the Broncos’ historic season opening game on Sunday against the Sydney Roosters in Las Vegas.
It will also be an historic day for Selwyn … the 50th time he has played for Brisbane since his first game in June 2021.
The Broncos have been training at the LA Rams in Los Angeles but will head to Las Vegas on Wednesday for their final preparations.
The rest of the Broncos squad is: Reece Walsh, Jesse Arthars, Kotoni Staggs, Deine Mariner, Ezra Mam, Adam Reynolds, Corey Jensen, Billy Walters, Payne Haas, Brendan Piakura, Jordan Riki and Patrick Carrigan; Interchange: Tyson Smoothy, Fletcher Baker, Kobe Hetherington and Xavier Willison; Reserves: Corey Oates, Jock Madden, Tristan Sailor, Martin Taupau and Jaiyden Hunt.
Two Round 1 games will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday and will be broadcast live on the Nine Network, Foxtel and Kayo:
- 1:30pm – South Sydney Rabbitohs v Manly Sea Eagles
- 3:30pm – Brisbane Broncos v Sydney Roosters
