The original “Sheik of Scrubby Creek”, Chad Morgan OAM, turned 91 on Sunday but time may finally be catching up with the South Burnett’s original country superstar.
Twin Towns Resort at Tweed Heads will be hosting Chad’s “Farewell To Australia” concert on April 21.
Chad last performed in the South Burnett at Kumbia last November.
He had been expected to perform at the recent Tamworth Country Music Festival, but his health forced him to cancel.
He will be joined on stage at Twin Towns by Terry Gordon, Vicky O’Keefe, John McSweeney, Johnny Greenwood, Dean Perrett, Jeff Brown, Chad Morgan Jnr, Lindsay Waddington, Dennis Morgan (and more) in a concert that fans should remember for a long time.
