The Linville Hotel has been named as a finalist in the annual Grey Nomad Awards, run by Awards Absolute.
The awards scheme aims to reward Councils, caravan parks, farmstays, pubs with camping, tourist attractions etc that provide exemplary services or experiences for mature-aged travellers.
Queensland towns, operators and campground managers have been shortlisted in 11 of the 14 categories which cover 2023.
The awards are judged by tourism professionals but the Best Pub Stay category will be determined by a public vote.
Awards director Kim Morgan said the Grey Nomad Awards provided verified information to guide travellers’ decisions.
National and State winners will be announced at the Art of Attraction Tourism Summit dinner on March 8 on the Sunshine Coast.
