Police are investigating after a man was shot at Chinchilla on Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 1:30pm, three people attended a Rodger Street address where they allegedly confronted a 36-year-old man.
During an altercation, the man suffered a gunshot wound to his neck.
The trio then fled in a silver utility with a white bumper.
The 36-year-old man was airlifted in a serious condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
Investigations into locating the vehicle and the three men are ongoing.
