A bunch of South Burnett junior cricketers have been playing for various teams in the recent Century Cricket competitions in Brisbane.

The 100-ball format competitions, which are privately run, were formerly known as the Brisbane Premier League.
This is the third year they have been held, but the first under the new branding.
Century Cricket Group was co-founded by healthcare businessman Stuart Giles, former Australian cricket great Ian Healy AO and commentator Mark Nicholas.
In 2023, it acquired the Australian Cricket Institute with ACI’s Nick Fitzpatrick and Joel Hamilton joining the Board.
