Most of Queensland is likely to have below average rainfall this spring, the Bureau of Meteorology has warned.
BOM has also urged residents to prepare and review their bushfire plans.
Fire agencies have identified an increased fire risk in spring for about two-thirds of Qld including inland parts of the Capricornia, Wide Bay and Burnett and the South-East Coast regions; and widespread parts of the Southern Downs and Granite Belt.
All of the State is also likely to have warmer spring days than usual.
Warmer nights are also likely in southern areas and coastal parts of the Far North.
