QAS paramedics assisted five people after a Scania truck and a Mazda vehicle collided on the D’Aguilar Highway on Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called to the incident between Nanango and Yarraman about 8:15pm.
A QAS spokesperson said five people with minor injuries were taken to Kingaroy Hospital for assessment.
Traffic on the highway was disrupted while tow trucks removed the vehicles, and debris on the road was cleared.
Two QFES crews were also called, but as there was no entrapment, they simply isolated the battery in the truck to stop any risk of fire.
