Firefighters fought for an hour to contain a house fire at South Nanango on Wednesday evening.
Five fire crews – urban and rural – were called to the blaze on Izzards Road about 11:10pm.
A QFES spokesperson said the fire was burning in the living quarters and kitchen of the timber building.
It was fully contained by 12:10am.
Investigators returned to the scene on Thursday morning to determine the exact cause of the blaze, but it is not considered suspicious.
QAS crews remained on standby during the incident but were not required.

Three people were transported to hospital after a single-vehicle rollover on the Murgon-Gayndah Road at Oakdale on Thursday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the incident at 8:34am.
A QAS spokesperson said a man with facial lacerations, a woman with suspected spinal injuries and a child were transported by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital.
