Police have identified a man who allegedly threatened an 18-year-old woman in Murgon on Saturday night before stealing her car.
The woman was robbed while she was sitting in a car outside the IGA supermarket in Lamb Street, Murgon.
Initial investigations by police indicate a man approached the victim about 7:00pm.
He opened the passenger door of the white 2008 Toyota Yaris and allegedly threatened the woman.
The offender then grabbed the woman, but she managed to get out of the car and flee.
The man then drove off in the vehicle.
The Toyota was discovered burnt out at Collins Road, Cherbourg, about an hour later.
Police have identified the offender and are currently conducting inquiries to locate him.
