Police are appealing for public assistance to find two women who have gone missing near Nanango.

Michelle Lyn Melbourne, 54, and Nikita May Bennett, 36, were last seen leaving an address on Nanango-Tarong Road around 11:00am on Friday (June 23).

Investigations suggest the pair left to go prospecting at 7 Mile Diggings on Old Esk North Road at Nanango.
