Police have renewed their calls for public help to locate 79-year-old Sidney Clark, after the vehicle he was driving and trailer were found abandoned.
Sidney was last seen driving a silver Jeep Cherokee (Vic registration NRM-093) with an attached trailer in the Chinchilla CBD on Monday but is believed to have travelled north to the Durong area.
The trailer was found abandoned on Tuesday on Chinchilla-Wondai Road, near Durong, with a shredded tyre.
On Wednesday, the Jeep was found on the side of Stockyard Road, Barakula.
Police have begun a land and air search of the area.
Concerns are held for his welfare as he has a medical condition which may cause confusion and disorientation.
Sidney is Caucasian, about 170cm tall with a proportionate build, short grey hair and a grey beard.
