Blackbutt’s SES shed in Muir Street is about to get a $97,649 upgrade, including a new roof.
South Burnett Regional Council has received a grant of $73,236.75 from the State Government’s SES Support Grant Program to carry out capital works at the Council-owned facility.
The remaining cost of the project will be borne by Council.
The upgrade includes the new roof, replacing the ceiling and carrying out other minor capital works.
The project will be completed during the next financial year.
