Woolworths has issued a recall notice for a homebrand product, “Cookies & Cream Classic Ice Cream Sandwiches”.
The product was sold in a 440ml four-pack in Woolworths stores in Queensland, NSW, Victoria and the ACT.
A spokesperson said the products had been identified as containing metal which may cause injury if eaten.
“Consumers should immediately cease using the product and return it to their nearest Woolworths Supermarket or Metro store for a full refund,” the spokesperson said.
“Customers should note that this recall applies to the above product sold in Woolworths Supermarkets or Metro stores with the best before date: November 2, 2024.
“No other products are affected by this recall.”
