The recent South Burnett Music Awards fundraiser has been boosted by another $700, thanks to the Bill Hull Care Centre in Kingaroy.
Dealer principal Jacqui Trace handed over the cheque to Music Awards organiser Warren Gould and committee member Sheena Lindholm on Thursday morning.
The $700 has come from the car dealership’s “Local Dollar Drive” where $100 from every vehicle sold goes to a local not-for-profit group.
This latest donation takes the profit from the South Burnett Music Awards to more than $3500 to help junior musicians in the region.
A committee to distribute to funds has been set up, with more details to be available soon.
The awards were auspiced by South Burnett Arts Inc.
