South Burnett Regional Council’s multi-million dollar claim against the company which built the Gordonbrook Water Treatment Plant is slowly progressing in the Brisbane Supreme Court.
The claim, against Ipswich-based company Aquatec Maxcon, was lodged in the Brisbane Supreme Court on October 21, 2020.
The matter was mentioned in court in February this year to handle procedural matters.
The Court made orders, with both parties’ consent, relating to the disclosure of documents and the exchange of expert evidence.
The parties have also been ordered to participate in mediation before any trial.
The proceeding is listed for a further review on August 25.
