The South Burnett’s 2023 soccer season rolled into action at the weekend, with a full round of junior and senior games played in Kingaroy.
On Friday night, Kingaroy Wests women defeated Nanango Panthers women 3-1 at Tom Alford Oval in the senior competition.
Kingaroy Easts men then defeated Kingaroy Wests men 5-2.
On Saturday night, Kingaroy Islanders men defeated Barambah Bears men 3-1.
There are three teams taking part in the 2023 senior women’s competition: Kingaroy Easts, Kingaroy Wests and Nanango Panthers.
Four teams are competing in the senior men’s competition: Kingaroy Easts, Kingaroy Wests, Kingaroy Islanders and Barambah Bears.
On Saturday morning, young players were in action on the Kingaroy junior fields from Under 6s through to Cadets.
Kingaroy will again be hosting the junior games this weekend.
