NBN Co will be hosting the Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s May meet’n’greet for local businesspeople.
NBN Local community engagement manager Scott Rowe will be a guest speaker at the event to discuss connectivity issues.
In February, the Federal Government and NBN announced that some Kingaroy households and businesses may soon get the opportunity to choose faster broadband thanks to a rollout of more “full fibre to the premises” connections.
The other guest speakers will be LEAP entrepreneurship facilitator Jason Virtue and Ivan Rasmussen, the senior economic development officer (Bundaberg & Burnett) with the Department of State Development.
The meet’n’greet will be held at the KCCI Hub, 195 Kingaroy Street, from 5:30pm on May 8.
Cost to attend if $10 for members and $15 for non-members. RSVP by email by May 5.
