Police are investigating a shooting which occurred at Coominya on Easter Saturday morning.
Police were called just before 11:00am to Rocky Gully Road after reports shots had been heard in the area.
They found a man aged in his 30s with gunshot wounds.
First aid was provided before he was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene was declared and Rocky Gully Road closed as investigations continued.
Police believe there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Anyone with information or relevant CCTV or dashcam footage in the area at the time has been asked to contact police.
