Three students from Kingaroy travelled to Clifton recently to take part in the Queensland Whipcracking Championships.
The trio are all past students and members of the St John’s Lutheran School whipcracking team.
Joshua Lamping did particularly well, picking up two first places and an encouragement award at his first whipcracking competition.
His proud father Stuart said it was the result of a many hours of hard work as well as support from the school and its whipcracking team.
