Kingaroy’s Transport and Main Roads Customer Service Centre is on the move.
The centre will shift from the Artie Kerr Building in Kingaroy Street on February 27 to 18 Alford Street.
A DTMR spokesperson said the new location would offer easier and safer access.
It will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30am to 4:00pm and on Wednesdays from 9:30am to 4:00pm.
“The centre will offer a spacious environment, improved parking, and greater accessibility for our customers,” Transport Minister Mark Bailey said.
“Moving to the heart of the Kingaroy Central Business District will make it more convenient for the community.
“We will continue to deliver services including licencing, registration, photo identification and other transport services.
“With automatic doors, ramp access, low-set counters and individual seating for customers, the new modern space will allow customers to interact with staff in a positive and relaxed way.”
