Services offered by Darling Downs Health’s Kobi House facility have moved away from Toowoomba Hospital.
Kobi House had been located opposite the main hospital entrance.
But from Monday this week (January 9), services will now be provided at the Baillie Henderson Hospital campus.
The name will also change to “Kobi Place” however the services offered remain the same:
- Sexual assault support service
- Refugee health
- Sexual health, HIV services, pregnancy options and contraception clinics
- Hepatitis C services
- Tuberculosis control clinic
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child immunisations, pertussis vaccine during pregnancy and patients with medical conditions requiring vaccinations
- Needle and syringe program
- Darling Downs Health staff only: influenza vaccines and occupational exposure testing and follow-up (eg. needlestick injuries)
The new address is Browne House, Baillie Henderson Hospital, corner of Tor and Hogg streets, Toowoomba.
