State Emergency Service groups across the North Coast Region have received more than $27,000 worth of new equipment as part of a special “Energising Qld” program.

The equipment was handed over at the Kingaroy SES headquarters earlier this week and will providing a boost to volunteer groups across the region ahead of the summer storm season.

Items included generators, defibrillators, chainsaws, pole saws, storage boxes, stretchers and stretcher trolleys, and vehicle fridges.

The Energising Qld partnership is a long-standing relationship between the SES, Energex, Ergon Energy and Powerlink Queensland.
