Police are investigating a suspected carjacking in Kingaroy on Monday night.
A police spokesperson confirmed a man has reported he was approached by a group of youths in Fisher Street about 9:00pm.
The group, believed to number about four, then allegedly assaulted the man and demanded he hand over his car keys.
The man was left very shaken after the incident.
The youths then drove off in a Holden Cruze.
The same vehicle is believed to have been involved in an incident in Cherbourg on Tuesday, which prompted the State School to go into lockdown.
Investigations are continuing.
