The Kumbia Race Club will be holding its annual Melbourne Cup race meeting on Tuesday, November 1.
It will be a five-race meeting with the first race scheduled to leave the barriers at 1:00pm.
The feature race, the Kumbia Cup Open Handicap (1400m), will also be a round of the Country Cups Challengfe and will be run at 3:45pm.
As well as a big Fashions of the Field competition, there’ll also be full TV coverage of the races from Flemington, including the Melbourne Cup.
On-course bookies will be taking bets on both the local and interstate races.
A bus will be running from Kingaroy’s Carrollee Hotel to help punters enjoy the day without the hassle of driving, but bookings need to be made at the hotel.
Nanango’s Fitzroy Hotel will also be running a bus to the races this year, and you can book tickets at this hotel.
