Expressions of interest are now open for the Federal Government’s 2022-23 Volunteer Grants program.
Grants of between $1000 and $5000 are available to eligible not-for-profit community organisations in every Federal electorate.
The objectives of Volunteer Grants are to:
- Help community organisations to support the efforts of Australia’s volunteers;
- Help community organisations to support the inclusion of vulnerable people through volunteering; and
- Encourage, support, and increase participation in volunteering.
Expressions of interest should be submitted to the relevant Federal MP:
Three Federal electorates cross the South Burnett:
- In Maranoa, expressions of interest should be submitted to the electorate office of David Littleproud
- In Flynn, the electorate office of Colin Boyce should be contacted
- In Wide Bay, contact the electorate office of Llew O’Brien
After being assessed, selected EOIs will then proceed to the formal application stage.
