Construction group McNab is seeking skilled tradespeople and labourers for an immediate start on large projects in the Darling Downs.
A spokesperson said McNab was seeking to employ up to 50 tradespeople and labourers, essentially doubling their workforce in the region.
McNab managing director Michael McNab said the company had launched a massive recruitment drive for workers cross a range of food, agricultural and industrial projects.
Mr McNab said no construction experience was needed for many of the jobs on offer.
“We can offer fully funded training, equipment tickets as well as transport and accommodation support in some cases,” he said.
“All we ask is for people to bring a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
“We have positions on offer for an immediate start across a large number of trades and labouring jobs, but of course we’re always on the look-out for great people in any role here at McNab.”
Mr McNab said that across the business there were 15 new projects either under way or in the pipeline, valued at more than $350 million.
