The South Burnett Aquatic Centre at Nanango has reopened to the public after renovations.
A South Burnett Regional Council spokesperson said the former bathrooms were demolished.
The new works included the creation of a Unisex People With Disability amenity, a first aid room, male and female toilets and a shower area. New windows and screens were installed to replace the existing louvre windows.
The upgrade also involved new partitioning, floor coverings, fixtures and fittings and painting of all new and disturbed works.

Consultants Otium Sport and Leisure will present the SBRC with draft designs of a new master plan for the Kingaroy’s Memorial Park and WJ Lang Memorial Olympic Swimming Pool at the end of this month.
The designs have been generated after feedback from a community survey, community stakeholder meetings and a councillor workshop earlier this year.
The draft designs will give Council an idea of the scope of the project and what the future could look like for both Memorial Park and the pool.
