The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry is encouraging businesses in the Kingaroy CBD to let their imaginations run wild and share in the spirit of BaconFest by entering a street window competition.
KCCI president Damien Martoo said the competition was a way for local businesses to attract visitors into their stores and capitalise on the increased number of visitors in town.
“The competition enables businesses to really get behind the Festival and show their support,” he said.
“We hope the Kingaroy CBD will help set the scene for the Festival and make sure visitors go home with memories of a unique BaconFest experience”.
KCCI is partnering with the BaconFest team to supply the competition prizes: a BaconFest merchandise pack that includes VIP food tent tickets and a pack of limited edition BaconFest Bacon provided by SunPork Fresh Foods.
Entry forms must be returned by email to info@kcci.asn.au by Monday, July 29.
Entry is free but shop window displays must remain on show for the BaconFest weekend, ie. August 19-21.
