Motorists in the Wondai and Murgon areas have been issued traffic tickets by police for a range of offences over the past week.
- June 14 – A 52-year-old Wooroolin man was fined $211 for driving on the Bunya Highway at Murgon with a recently expired driver’s licence.
- June 15 – A 40-year-old Rockhampton man was fined $275 (plus three demerit points) for speeding in Edward Street, Wondai. He was also fined $275 for driving a vehicle with the load not appropriately restrained.
- June 16 – A 37-year-old Cherbourg woman was fined $110 for driving a vehicle on Palmer Street, Murgon, without a number plate attached.
- June 17 – An 80-year-old Murgon man was fined $321 (plus three demerit points) for failing to move out of the path of police or an emergency vehicle on the Bunya Highway at Murgon.
- June 18 – An 18-year-old Cunnamulla man was fined $220 (plus two demerit points) for failing to display clearly legible red P plates on Chinchilla-Wondai Road and $137 (plus one demerit point) for failing to comply with a condition on a Queensland driver’s licence.
