A Regional Community Forum to discuss issues in the Wide Bay-Burnett-Fraser Coast region will be held in Bundaberg on Monday (May 30).
It will be one of seven forums held across the State; the forum for the Darling Downs-South West region will be held in Toowoomba.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the forums would bring community representatives together with Cabinet Ministers and MPs to work on local priorities for stronger regional communities.
“In the two and a half years since the Regional Community Forums started, they’ve come up with local solutions and local innovations for local issues,” the Premier said.
Twenty people have been recruited to take part in each forum.
“Earlier this year we opened expressions of interest to recruit new forum members and it’s exciting to welcome 140 new and returning representatives across the State,” the Premier said.
