Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) will be hosting an information evening in Chinchilla next month for potential suppliers to the Wambo Wind Farm project.
Representatives from Cubico Sustainable Investments Australia, Stanwell and Powerlink will be in attendance.
The Wambo Wind Farm project is located on about halfway between Kingaroy and Chinchilla in the Western Downs region.
The project, which is due for completion in 2024, will feature up to 110 turbines contributing about 500MW to the national electricity grid.
The site will also include a 50MW/200MWh battery storage and associated infrastructure.
The evening will be held from 5:30pm-8:30pm on May 12 at the Bulldog Park Clubhouse in Chinchilla.
