The Murgon Business and Development Association’s Australia Day event – cancelled in January due to pandemic restrictions – has been rescheduled to March 12.
It has been a long tradition for the MBDA to name local Australia Day Award winners as well as honouring the Murgon recipients of the South Burnett Regional Council Australia Day awards at a separate event.
This is usually on January 26.
The 2022 Murgon winners will now be presented with their awards from 2:00pm on Saturday, March 12, at the Queensland Dairy and Heritage Museum.
Afternoon tea will also be served.
