Police have charged eight drivers with drug-driving offences after recent operations across the South Burnett.
- About 11:40am on February 10, police stopped a vehicle on the Bunya Highway at Murgon. A 23-year-old Wondai man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on March 29.
- About 12:10pm on February 11, police intercepted a vehicle on the Proston-Boondooma Road at Proston. A 37-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with drug driving as well possessing drugs and a drug utensil. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 14.
- A short time later, police stopped a vehicle on Rodney Street, Proston. A 34-year-old Coverty man was charged with drug driving and unlicensed driving. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on March 17.
- About 10:15am on February 12, police pulled over a vehicle on Wondai-Proston Road at Keysland. A 25-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 14.
- About noon the same day, police stopped a vehicle on Stumckes Road at Kinleymore. A 44-year-old Brigooda woman is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on March 31.
- About 2:00pm, police intercepted a vehicle on Main Street, Hivesville. A 27-year-old Miles man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 14.
- About 10:00am on February 15, police stopped a vehicle on the Bunya Highway at Wondai. A 34-year-old Wondai woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on April 12.
- About 10:50am, police intercepted another vehicle on the Bunya Highway at Wondai. A 47-year-old Cherbourg man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on March 29.

Drink Driving
Two drivers have also been charged with drink-driving offences:
- About 3:00pm on February 3, police stopped a vehicle on the Bunya Highway at Murgon. The driver allegedly provided a positive reading of 0.096 BAC. A 55-year-old Murgon woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on March 1. She was also was issued with licence suspension notice.
- About 8:30pm on February 13, police intercepted a prime mover on Lamb Street, Murgon. It will be alleged the driver blew 0.047 BAC, over the limit for a specified vehicle. A 63-year-old Urana man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on March 1. He was also was issued with licence suspension notice.

Unlicensed Driving
Three people have been charged with driving while unlicensed:
- About 2:30pm on February 3, police intercepted a vehicle in Bond Street, Cherbourg. A 20-year-old Cherbourg man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on March 1.
- About 2:30pm on February 7, police stopped a vehicle in Macalister Street, Murgon. A 38-year-old Murgon man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on March 1.
- About 4:00pm on February 12, police stopped a vehicle in Chataway Street, Murgon. A 57-year-old Murgon woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on March 1.

Disqualified Driving
- About 2:15pm on February 9, police intercepted a vehicle in High Street, Tingoora. A 61-year-old Kumbia woman has been charged with speeding and driving a motor vehicle other than allowed under an interlock condition. She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on March 17.
