Wondai residents have been reminded by Darling Downs Health that a COVID-19 vaccination clinic is running this week at Wondai Hospital.
The temporary clinic opened on Tuesday afternoon.
The Pfizer-only clinic will provide first, second and booster doses to everyone over the age of 16, and first and second doses to everyone between 5-15 years.
The clinic is walk-in only.
“We’re committed to providing the community with every possible opportunity we can to ensure they have access to a COVID-19 vaccine,” spokesperson Michelle Forrest said.
“We know that getting vaccinated or having your booster shot is the best way to protect yourself, your loved ones and community from getting seriously sick, or ending up in hospital from COVID-19.
“If you are due for a booster, or perhaps you’re still to receive your first dose, come on into the clinic and one of our friendly team will be able to help.”
