The 10th annual Kings Royal weekend – the biggest event on the South Burnett Speedway Club’s annual calendar – roars into action on Friday at the Kingaroy Showgrounds.
Over the next three days there will be action from Production Sedans, Street Stocks, Junior Sedans and Modlites plus the main events: the Ian Boettcher Race Parts Kings Royal for modified sedans and the Ken Mills Isuzu Ute Queens Royal for female drivers.
- Friday – Modifieds, Queens Royal and Juniors
- Saturday – Modifieds, Production Sedans and Modlites
- Sunday – Modifieds and Street Stocks
The action will be topped off on Sunday night with a huge fireworks display.
Racing will start each day at 4:00pm and run through until about 10:30pm.
Spectators should enter the showgrounds at Gate 3 or Gate 5 on Youngman Street.
All access to the track is through Gate C (near the Snack Shack) and Gate A located between the main control tower and the toilet block.
Gate 3 will be open from 9:00am daily. Gate 5 and Gate C will be open from 2:00pm daily.
A three-day pass is $80 for adults, or $40 for aged/disability pensioners and students with ID. A family pass (2 adults/2 students) is $180; children under 12, accompanied by an adult, are free.
Day passes are $30 for adults, or $15 for aged/disability pensioners and students with ID. A family pass (2 adults/2 students) is $75; children under 12, accompanied by an adult, are free.
