Five Kingaroy players have started 2022 with a bang after their syndicate scored $2.3 million in the recent $40 Million Megadraw.
The store syndicate held one of 17 Division 1 winning entries across Australia in Gold Lotto draw 4221, drawn on New Year’s Eve.
Each Division 1 winning entry won $2,352,941.18.
But as well as winning Division 1, the syndicate’s System 8 QuickPick entry also scored 12 x Division 3 wins and 15 x Division 4 wins, bolstering the total win to $2,364,598.58.
The means each member of the syndicate will pocket $472,919.72.
Matt Hart, spokesperson for The Lott, said some syndicate members might not have discovered their exciting news yet.
“We’ll be reaching out to those registered syndicate members this week to confirm their New Year’s Eve windfalls,” he said.
“We know some of these Division 1 winning syndicate members have already begun celebrating their good fortune and are kickstarting the New Year knowing they have a hefty boost coming into their bank accounts.
“However, others may be completely oblivious to their win.
“So if you purchased a share in a syndicate for the recent Megadraw, today’s the day to check it! If you realise you’re holding a winning share, call us on 13-18-68 to start the prize claim process.”
