Queensland Health has issued new COVID-19 public health alerts for contact tracing locations on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane.
The new locations are at Buddina, Maroochydore, Kallangur, Strathpine and Banyo.
A public health alert has also been issued in regards to passengers who flew from Sydney to Cairns on flight JQ-950 on December 3.
One new locally acquired COVID-19 case in Queensland was announced on Tuesday.
The Gold Coast man is believed to have been infectious in the community for a number of days.
There are currently 39 active cases of COVID-19 in the State.
