Seven young South Burnett rugby league players have been selected for Wide Bay Bulls’ 2022 training squads.
On Tuesday, Wide Bay Rugby League announced the Bulls’ squads for the statewide U16s Cyril Connell Challenge and U18s Mal Meninga Cup competitions.
Selected in the U16s squad were Malakye Blow, Mathaniel Cuthbertson and Charlie Sippel.
In the U18s squad are Tyrell Hopkins, Fletch Prendergast, Damon Strauf and Lachlan Zelinski.

2019 South Burnett Eagle of the Year trophy winner Glen Fisher has been selected for the train-on squad for Easts Tigers in the 2022 Hastings Deerings Colts competition.
Glen played almost all his junior rugby league with the Murgon Mustangs.
He has also represented the South Burnett Eagles, Wide Bay Bulls and Central Qld Crows.
