Expressions of interest are now open for Round 7 of the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Program.
Councils and community groups can nominate projects for grants of up to $20,000.
The Federal electorates that cross the South Burnett – Maranoa, Flynn and Wide Bay – have been allocated $150,000 each to distribute.
Interested groups should contact the office of their local MP: David Littleproud (Maranoa), Ken O’Dowd (Flynn) or Llew O’Brien (Wide Bay) for more information.
Grants from $2500 up to $20,000 are available to cover up to 100 per cent of eligible project costs, or up to 50 per cent for councils.
