South Burnett Mayor Brett Otto has urged South Burnett residents to “do their part” and get vaccinated against COVID-19.

“The more people vaccinated in the South Burnett, the more protected we are against COVID-19, and the sooner we can open the border and be reunited with our loved ones for Christmas,” the Mayor said.

“I implore our community to do their due diligence and get vaccinated.

“We are at a stage where we must learn to live with COVID-19.

“The vaccine is our only defence against it, and the only guarantee for us to get back to living full lives again.”
