Some of Australia’s top junior motocross riders will be coming to Kingaroy this weekend to take part in the Maxxis South-East Queensland Junior MX series.
Round 3 of the SEQJMX series will be raced at the South Burnett Junior Motorcycle Club track on Saturday and Sunday (October 23-24).
“This is looking like it’s going to be a great family event with over 300 bikes entered,” South Burnett Junior Motorcycle Club president Brent Perrett said.
“There are going to be some big name Australian riders attending as well as some very talented local riders.”
The South Burnett Junior Motorcycle Club track is located on Edenvale South Road, behind Kingaroy Airport.
Club volunteers have been working hard over the past few weeks to have the track in top condition for the event, which will be the last major race of the year.
Entry is free for spectators and there will be a canteen operating both days.
Camping is also available at the grounds for the weekend for $10 per site.
