Toowoomba Regional Council is asking residents, “What kind of a future do you want?”
Cr Megan O’Hara Sullivan said Council was seeking further public input into the Toowoomba Region Futures program.
“Our region is growing and changing. We have an opportunity to plan for growth, to have more choice in where and how we live, where we work, study and play, and how we move around,” she said.
“The Toowoomba Region Futures is a program designed to help shape growth and development in our region for the next 30 years. This is a chance for our community to ensure our region remains a great place to live now and for future residents.”
Public feedback is being sought during October and November for the draft Design Framework (Talking Towns), the implementation of Green Infrastructure in the planning scheme and the draft Growth Plan.
