South Burnett Regional Council will give $67,000 to 36 community groups in the latest round of its twice-yearly Community Grants Program.
Communities portfolio chair Cr Danita Potter announced the successful grant applicants at Wednesday’s standing committee meeting.
The Council will contribute funding towards several Australia Day, Anzac Day and Christmas Carnival functions organised by not-for-profit groups.
It will also contribute towards the upkeep, maintenance or expansion of a number of community-owned facilities, including insurance for four community halls.
